Job Description:

Assess PerceptiMed’s product plans and roadmaps; ensure that product architecture decisions conform to PerceptiMed’s roadmaps; deliver product releases according to milestones set out by PerceptiMed; drive engineering best practices across PerceptiMed; develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms; work with electro-mechanical and control systems and firmware; manage large datasets; use automation tools (Python, C++, C# and Matlab); contribute to sales by meeting with prospective customers; lead, develop, and grow best engineering talent; create innovative, empowered teams that work with engineering, and innovation teams to deliver results; establish framework for making impactful technical decisions; empower engineers to innovate while providing technical expertise/targeted questions to make a decision that is best for PerceptiMed’s business; determine PerceptiMed’s research roadmap; guide R&D engineers and participate in research activities; manage patent portfolio; responsible for filing PerceptiMed’s new patents; design, oversee, and manage internal and back end infrastructure (planning and developing systems for managing IT infrastructure, meeting compliance requirements); provide engineering support for customers and customer support teams, and manage a team.

Job Requirements:  

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering plus 1 year industry experience. Experience to include developing computer vision and machine learning algorithms, electro-mechanical and control systems and firmware, and management of large datasets and using automation tools (Python, C++, C#, and Matlab).
